In principle, the seller is responsible for shipping the goods.

Delivery:
Unless otherwise agreed, the goods will be delivered "ex warehouse" within 1-3 working days.

If the chosen payment option is prepayment than a shipment takes place after the receipt of money. A SEPA bank transfer takes 24 - 48 hours. To speed up the delivery you can usually send an electronic payment receipt.

If you use the Solartraders escrow service then the delivery takes place after we report the receipt of payment to the seller on our escrow account.

Delivery time
Delivery time depends on the vendor's location and the location of the inbound delivery.

Examples

Deliveries in Germany

Inverter under 30 kg approx. 1 - 2 working days

Inverter over 30 kg 1 - 3 working days

Modules approx. 1 - 3 working days

Deliveries from EU to EU country

Inverter under 30 kg approx. 2 - 3 working days

Inverter over 30 kg 2 - 5 working days

Modules approx. 2 - 5 working days

Tracking numbers
Some deliveries can be tracked via a tracking number. You receive this directly from the seller, sometimes it is also noted on the delivery notes.

Unloading
Please make sure that the goods can be delivered and unloaded properly.

Inverters and modules can usually be delivered anywhere without any problems. If there is no loading ramp and no forklift available at the place of delivery, please inform the supplier, otherwise the goods may not be unloaded.

Basically the delivery to the curb takes place, all other needs of the arrangement with the salesman or forwarding agency.

Inspection of the goods
Please check the goods on delivery for external damage to the packaging. Do not let the carrier put pressure on you. If you notice any damage to the packaging, please note this on the consignment note and have it signed by the driver. We would also ask you to document the damage with your smartphone and send the pictures together with the bill of lading to the seller. The seller will then settle the claim.

Delivery address
If you make an inquiry with Solartraders in the system you have the possibility to select a delivery address. Here you can enter your company address or a new address (construction site, customer). Please also enter a contact person and telephone number. If you want to change the delivery address afterwards, please inform the seller so that he can record the new data.

Notification prior to delivery
Do you wish to be notified of the delivery? Then you should list a contact person under the delivery address and give a mobile phone number and inform the supplier about this. You will then receive a call from the forwarding agent before delivery.

Freight costs
If the seller has not already informed you of the freight costs, please ask again, if you have selected a delivery address, your data are available to the supplier. Please clarify the freight costs always before the purchase.

Insurance
The goods must be insured by the carrier or the supplier. Please check the goods for damage on delivery.
