Shipping Responsibility
The respective seller on SolarTraders is always responsible for shipping the goods.
Delivery
Unless otherwise agreed, deliveries are made from stock within 1–3 business days.
For prepayment orders, goods are shipped after payment has been received. Please note that a SEPA transfer usually takes 24–48 hours. To speed up delivery, you can usually send the seller an electronic proof of payment.
If you are using the SolarTraders Escrow Service, delivery will take place once we confirm the payment to the seller on our escrow account.

Inverters over 30 kg: approx. 1–3 business days

Tracking
Some deliveries can be tracked via a tracking number. You will receive this directly from the seller or it may be listed on the delivery note.
Unloading
Please ensure that the goods can be properly delivered and unloaded.
Inverters and modules are usually easy to deliver.
If there is no loading ramp or forklift at the delivery site, inform the seller in advance – otherwise, the delivery may not be unloadable.
Deliveries are generally made to the curbside. Any special arrangements must be coordinated with the seller or the shipping company in advance.
Inspection Upon Delivery
Check the goods immediately upon arrival for visible damage to the packaging.
Do not let the carrier pressure you.
If damage is visible:
Note the damage on the freight document and have it signed by the driver.
Photograph the damaged packaging.
Send the photos along with the freight document to the seller so they can initiate claims handling.
Delivery Address
When placing an inquiry through SolarTraders, you can choose a delivery address – e.g., your company address, a construction site, or a customer’s address.
Always provide a contact person and phone number.
If the delivery address changes after the order, inform the seller so the new details can be updated.
Delivery Notification (Avis)
If you want to be notified before delivery, provide a contact person and mobile number at the delivery address and inform the seller. The shipping company will then call you before arrival.
Shipping Costs
If the seller has not already provided the shipping costs, please ask directly.
Always clarify shipping costs before purchase to avoid misunderstandings.
Insurance
The goods are generally insured by the carrier or seller.
However, please always check the shipment for possible damage upon delivery.
